SMOKING CESSATION

A regular smoker’s chance of getting lung
cancer is 40 times that of a non-smoker. The chance of dying from
coronary heart disease is more than doubled in smokers and tripled
in heavy smokers. The risk goes up eight fold in smokers with other
risk factors such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Ask for
advice about giving up smoking from our stop smoking advisor who is trained to advise on smoking cessation.
